What comes to your mind when you hear the words “Black Wall Street”? Most likely it varies for many different people, but the words “Black Wall Streets” has a different ring to it. The modern day Wall Street is heavily associated with the financial and investment community in America. Depending on who you talk to in our community, Black Wall Street is generally referring to the street in a black community that was the epicenter of commerce there. We need to become used to using the words Black Wall Streets, because the truth is, there were several of them. It may be safe to say that every black community had it’s own Black Wall Street.
